Step-less Grind Adjustment

While the difference in fineness is small, there is still a gap in which your perfect shot of espresso could reside. With step-less (or micro-metric) adjustment, there are no leaps from setting to setting. Simply turn the micro-metric adjustment knob, and your Nuova MCF will change the grind setting very slowly and in tiny increments. For this reason, the Nuova Simonelli is best used as strictly an espresso grinder, although it can grind from Turkish to French Press.
